AMV-Contest 2024 presented by AnimeRadio.de

Our Manami invites you to the grand AMV Contest in Kassel, right in the heart of Germany. In collaboration with AnimeRadio.de, we are searching for the best Anime Music Videos for the Anime Festival Kassel 2024, taking place from October 4th to 6th. On Saturday evening, we will showcase videos full of action, romance, and drama in the grand ballroom of the Kongress Palais. In addition to fame and glory, participants can look forward to prize money totaling 600 Euros!

Prizes:

Conditions for Participation:

• Participation in the competition is open worldwide. Attending the Anime Festival Kassel is not a requirement. We offer all participants free entry to the Anime Messe Babelsberg on Saturday. Please email us if you plan to attend in person.
• The submission deadline is September 29, 2024 - [ AMV - Registration Form ]
• Exclusive Competition:
  AMVs submitted for the exclusive competition must not be made publicly available before the event. It is not allowed to upload the AMV to YouTube or other platforms before the festival. We would appreciate it if our logo is visible at the beginning or end of the video. You can submit multiple videos for the exclusive competition.
• Open Competition:
  AMVs submitted for the open competition can be published before the event and may have already participated in other contests. You may only submit one video!
• For both the open and exclusive competitions, you must provide proof that you are the author of the submitted video. A possible proof could be a screenshot of the timeline from the video editing program.
• The submitted videos must be related to the themes of Japanese anime, video games, or cosplay. Videos that glorify violence or contain extreme erotic content may be excluded from the competition on a case-by-case basis.
• The videos must be of high image and sound quality and should not exceed seven minutes in length. Please ensure that your video can be played using the regular VLC player.
• You can submit your videos via Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or other similar services. Please test the link in a private browser window to ensure it is properly shared. Do not use services like WeTransfer or others where files are automatically deleted.
• By participating in the exclusive or open competition, you grant us the right to use your videos at our events.

Judging:

• The judging will be done by a jury composed of members of the Anime Festival Kassel team, who will make an initial selection for the audience to vote on.
• During the event, the audience will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite video.
• The winners will be announced during the closing ceremony of the Anime Festival Kassel on Sunday.
• The prize money will be transferred to the winners no later than one month after the Anime Festival Kassel. Please note that we only offer PayPal, IBAN, and SWIFT (subject to fees) as payment methods. If you cannot receive money through these methods, we can try to provide the prize in the form of goods.
