Anime fans, prepare yourselves for an epic musical experience! On Saturday, 28th October at 11:10 in the grand ballroom of the Anime Festival Kassel, TnS - Tsuki no Senshi, Europe's first Anime/Manga and Games show project, will take you on a journey to the bustling New York of the 1980s.
Join us in celebrating the 25th anniversary of the performance group, which has been gracing German convention stages for a quarter of a century. For this special occasion, they're presenting a musical adaptation of the manga hit "Banana Fish".
New York in the 80s: Ash grows up on the streets, amidst the violence of the mafia don Dino Golzine. Now, he's the leader of his own gang and is seeking freedom. But his "Papa" can't just let him go – not when the terrifying secret, which drove Ash's brother to madness during the Vietnam War, suddenly falls into his ambitious hands. It's precisely the wrong time for Eiji, a young journalist from Japan, to come to New York and meet Ash. The two find themselves caught in a whirlwind of violence, unleashed by the mystery code-named "Banana Fish".
