We are thrilled to present the European premiere of the latest anime film from Studio MAHO FILM on the big screen in the Festsaal. On Saturday, October 5th, at 17:30, we will be screening Blue Miburo for the first time in Europe. To mark this special occasion, character designer Ms. Yuko Oba and anime producer Ms. Mayuka Kawasumi will be traveling from Japan. In addition to the premiere, Ms. Mayuka Kawasumi will be giving insights into anime production during a panel on Friday. On Sunday, you will have the chance to see Ms. Yuko Oba in action during a live drawing session. The film will be shown again on Sunday at 17:10 in the Gesellschaftssaal.

Kyoto is in turmoil following the arrival of the so-called "black ships." Amid this upheaval, a kind-hearted boy named Nio encounters the legendary figures Toshizo Hijikata and Souji Okita of "Miburo," the precursor to the later Shinsengumi.
